This property is situated at the northern end of the city, close to El Camino Real. Our clients wanted a new more formal two-story traditional home so they could furnish it with the many European antiques and furniture they had collected over the years.
The couple both worked at a major Silicon Valley firm and entertained often. They wanted their home to be flexible enough for casual gatherings of family and friends to enjoy a football game but also to provide a formal setting to dine in style and entertain important corporate leaders and out-of-town guests. In addition, each traveled often for business usually on different schedules so it was extremely important to separate the interior spaces so that each could maintain individual privacy without disturbing the other. They also insisted that their new home be designed with abundant storage and shelving to showcase the many books and artifacts that they had collected.
We were responsible not only for the development of the drawings and specifications for this project, but also for the full administration services during the home's construction.
