We had the pleasure of designing the Sereno Group’s Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Willow Glen offices and when they approached us to design their Saratoga office; we were thrilled at the prospects of creating a new workspace for this unique boutique real estate firm. Unlike the previous office interiors we designed that had a strong regional, more residential inspired theme, they wanted their new Saratoga office interior to have a more corporate and contemporary look and feel to appeal to their changing demographic Silicon Valley clientele.
Ranking among the top five brokerages in the United States, the firm’s partners insisted on a working environment for the new office to be functional yet also flexible, and not encumbered with an excessive amount of individual offices that separated the staff from one another. Instead they wanted us to design a more open workplace where the senior sales staff were accessible and not isolated from their sales team. Workstations along with small conference rooms provided both an efficient use of the interior space but also promoted a more collaborative open environment for their entire office staff.
